Group Classes
Agility group classes take place at our Dodington venue on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening. Classes are for 50 mins and have a maximum of 5 dogs per class.
*Initial costs for a group class is £60 for a 5 week course.
*Regular group classes are £35 per dog per month. This is based on the club providing 42 weeks training per year at £10 per dog per week.
Young Dogs Classes
These classes are held at Dodington and concentrate on agility foundation training. This is a key element of agility training and will focus on things such as: –
- Body Awareness
- Proprioception
- Drive
- Co-ordination & Balance
- Impulse Control
- Flat work
This is a really important phase at the beginning of the dog agility training journey, as well as being a whole lot of fun!
1-to-1 lessons
1-to-1 lessons are great if you need to focus on specific areas of training. They are also a good option for dogs new to agility and can be used as a ‘taster’ session for anybody thinking about starting agility with their dog. 1-to-1’s are available at both Dodington and the Clutton venue either during the day or in the evening. 2-to-1 lessons are also available if you want to share an hour with a friend.
1-to-1 lessons are £37.50 per hour or £20 for 30 mins
2-to-1 lessons (2 dogs & 2 handlers) are £40 per hour
Workshops
Workshops take place on adhoc basis at Dodington. These workshops will cover everything from Foundation and one-jump skills through to Course Management, Handling Option, Contacts, Weaves and UKA Games. For more information on Workshops please get in touch.
Lessons will only ever be cancelled due to very extreme weather when it is deemed unsafe to train outdoors (heat, flooding, ice etc). Lessons cancelled due to extreme weather will unfortunately not be refunded. It is however extremely rare for lessons to be cancelled.
